Portable audio and video recorder hidden inside an alarm clock.
At the front of the alarm clock there is a tiny unnoticeable hole through which the image arrives at a pinhole color camera. Inside the clock, completely hidden from view, there is a recording device with a MicroSD card of up to 32 GB (MicroSD-card of 4 GB included) and a rechargeable battery. It has 3 different recording modes, which can be set using the built-in remote control. The first recording mode allows you to capture audio only. The second recording mode allows you to capture video continuously. The third recording mode keeps the device in standby mode and only records when it detects movement. The videos obtained are of 30 images per second, MJPEG compression, AVI format and high resolution of 640 x 480. The whole system is powered by a high capacity battery, rechargeable by USB, which allows up to 12 hours of video recording and 25 hours of audio-only recording.
The alarm clock is fully functional, you can adjust the time and it has an alarm with several tones. Externally there is nothing that indicates that it is a portable recorder. On the side, hidden from view by a trim, the alarm clock has a microSD card input, a power switch and a microUSB connector, which allows you to connect the recorder to a computer to view and save the videos and audio files as well as recharging the device.
