Portable audio and video recorder hidden inside a pen.
On the front of the pen there is a tiny hole, hidden and negligible, via which the image goes to a pinhole colour camera. Inside the pen, and completely hidden, there is a recording device of 4 GB and rechargeable battery. The recording is activated manually by pressing the button on the top of the pen. The videos obtained are of 30 images per second, MJPEG compression, AVI format and high resolution of 640 x 480.. The device can also be configured to take pictures by taking a JPG image of 1280 x 1024 each time you press the button on the top of the pen. The entire system is powered by a USB rechargeable battery, with an autonomy of approximately 85 minutes.
The pen is fully functional and has no external element indicating that it is a portable recorder. Unscrewing the pen we found a USB connector that allows you to connect the pen recorder to a computer to view and save videos and photographs, as well as recharge the device.
