Rechargeable Lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery of 8 V with long duration.

The Li-Ion batteries do not suffer from the so-called memory effect and they have a big specific capacity. They have a high energy density and a high voltage per cell. Its discharge is linear, during the entire discharge the battery voltage barely varies, which avoids the need for regulatory circuits. It has a Low self-discharge rate of only 6% monthly (progressive download in storage).
