The X-Security XS-SW1008POE-96-DIN is an industrial switch designed for video surveillance and control nodes that require unwavering reliability without complex configurations. Its architecture is designed to provide 8 PoE+ ports with a capacity of 30W per channel, making it ideal for powering fixed cameras, mid-sized dome cameras, or wireless access points. The inclusion of a Gigabit Combo port (RJ45/SFP) provides the flexibility to choose between a copper or fiber-optic backbone link, ensuring that data traffic flows to the recorder or server without bottlenecks.

Built to withstand the rigors of an industrial environment, its metal chassis IP30 passively dissipates heat, operating quietly and efficiently within a temperature range of -30°C to 65°C. PoE Watchdog's built-in intelligence adds a layer of proactive maintenance by detecting when a connected device has stopped transmitting data and automatically resetting it via a power cycle. This is a "set-and-forget" device, protected against voltage surges of up to 6 kV, ensuring uninterrupted service in electrical cabinets and production facilities.
